On Saturday, July 18, 2026, we're celebrating an incredible milestone—The Shad Co.'s second anniversary—and we want you to celebrate with us!

From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, our shop will transform into Shad Fest, an afternoon packed with industry-leading bike brands, exclusive giveaways, product demonstrations, food, drinks, games, prizes, and some surprises you won't want to miss.

Whether you're a longtime customer, a weekend rider, a mountain biker, a road cyclist, or you've simply been curious about what we're all about, Shad Fest is our way of saying thank you to the cycling community that has made these past two years possible.

Each vendor will have products on display, giveaways, and samples for visitors to check out—and in many cases, even try for themselves. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet the people behind the brands, ask questions, and see the latest products up close.

SRAM Grand Prizes

SRAM will be giving away branded merchandise throughout the event, but that's only the beginning.

The grand prize drawings will include:

A complete SRAM drivetrain upgrade
A complete suspension upgrade, including a new fork and rear shock

Shimano will be giving away official Shimano-branded merchandise and cycling products throughout the afternoon.

Need fresh rubber?

Continental will have a wide selection of their bicycle tires available at special event pricing, including the ability to place discounted special orders on tires they don't have with them.

It's one of the best opportunities of the year to stock up before riding season.

The Hunt for the Five Golden Links

Think you've got a sharp eye?

Throughout Shad Fest we'll be hosting The Hunt for the Five Golden Links.

We've hidden five gold bicycle chain links somewhere around the shop.

Find one before someone else does and you'll win a special prize.

Simple. Fun. And yes...they're actually gold.

Food, Drinks & Local Favorites

No celebration is complete without good food.

We'll have complimentary food and drinks available throughout the event while supplies last.

We're also excited to debut something we've been working on with 12 West Brewing Co.—a custom beer brewed exclusively for The Shad Co.'s second anniversary.

Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or simply want to raise a glass with fellow riders, we're excited to share this special release with everyone attending.

Need to cool off?

LMNT Hydration will be serving free electrolyte samples from their lemonade stand, helping everyone stay hydrated during the Arizona summer.

And to make the afternoon even sweeter, a local creamery will be serving free ice cream for everyone while supplies last.

When we opened The Shad Co. two years ago, our goal wasn't simply to repair bicycles.

We wanted to build a place where riders could gather, learn, solve problems, share stories, and become part of a community.

Since day one, we've believed that great bike shops are built on relationships—not transactions.

Every repair we've completed, every wheel we've built, every suspension service we've performed, and every conversation we've shared has been possible because of the incredible people who continue to support us.
